We started the day at Denny's and then the grocery store. We did not leave for the park until about 11:00am.
Terminator ride. Our first ride with much excitement! We got into the auditorium, got seated and the lady tried to start the presentation. She stopped, said "ooops" and departed. A few moments later an announcement was made that the ride was busted and we all should leave. Well, that was not much fun.
Next did the Simpson's ride. That actually worked.
Next the Men In Black ride. We did not even get to the ride before they announced the ride was busted and we all needed to leave. The fire alarms were going off but there was no smoke.
On to Harry Potter...
The Escape from Gringotts ride actually worked and was fun.
The butter beer was very tasty, as was the lager.
Shopping for just the right interactive wand.
Grandmother, Gavin and Megan went on the Flight of the Hippogriff, while Stephen, Laura and I went on the Dragon Challenge. Everyone was delighted. We ended the day going on the Dr. Suess Cat in the Hat drive, Megan's idea.
We left the park around 7:30pm exhausted. We got back to the house around 8:30pm. It started raining shortly after we got home. Terri says she walked 13,737 steps today, or 5.6 miles of walking during the day, bringing the total to 5.6 miles.
